I've learned a lot from some wonderful training and reading on personal development. My goal is to help people with health and fitness, but I believe part of 'health' is also regarding your well-being. I'd highly recommend visiting Chalene Johnson's videos and website. (www.chalenejohnson.com) And reading her book, "Push". She's a wonderful motivator and has an uncanny way of speaking right TO you about discovering yourself, your goals, wishes, and how to get there.


It's a NEW year, what will YOU do with it?
It's a fresh start. Even if you don't like the work 'resolutions'. I personally think New Years Resolutions are a fabulous idea. Call them 'goals' if 'resolutions' bother you. And I think you SHOULD reach for the stars with them. Have you ever read the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill? You should. Basically the book explains, what you DECIDE you'll accomplish, you will. You must believe it, make it so in your head...and it WILL become. So why not reach for the stars? A word about positivity
There are tons of books out there about the power of positive thinking. There's a reason why it's so popular in some groups. I thoroughly recommend reading (or listening to the audiobook) some of these. The one I'm reading right now is "Think and Grow Rich" By Napoleon Hill. It's eye-opening. And for those of you who know me personally, you can probably tell that my positivity has increased. I'm truly happy every day. I BELIEVE my day will be good, and it is. What's your motivation?

Sometimes you may not feel like getting your workout in. Or maybe you don't feel like eating healthy anymore. When these times come, it's important to remember your motivation.

Do you want to be healthy for your kids?

Do you want to be healthy so you feel better?

Do you want to be healthy so you're around for your friends?

Do you want to like what you see when you look in the mirror?

Maybe fit back into some old clothes?
